Live Theatre is proud to present Jane Eyre as our inaugural production — a powerful new stage adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel. This reimagined version captures the spirit of Jane’s defiance, independence, and quiet strength, brought to life through fresh theatrical vision and a distinctly local voice. This is a new and local adaptation. Adapted and directed by Emma Watson.

Auditions

Auditions for Jane Eyre will be open to everyone in the community, whether you're a seasoned performer or trying the stage for the first time. We’re looking for passionate individuals ready to bring this bold adaptation to life with heart, creativity, and courage. In around January 2026

Rehearsals

Rehearsals will be a collaborative and supportive environment, focused on building strong characters, ensemble connection, and theatrical confidence. They’ll run over several weeks, with a mix of scene work, movement, and technical preparation to ensure every voice shines. Rehearsals will be from March to Early June 2026

Production Dates

Our production of Jane Eyre will celebrate local talent, innovative storytelling, and the magic of live performance. With beautiful staging, evocative design, and a cast drawn from our own community, this will be a powerful launch for Live Theatre’s first major work. Performances will be June 2026
